Qualification and Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the WILP 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background:
    • 10th Standard: Passed
    • 12th Standard: Passed
    • Graduation: Must have achieved at least 60% or a CGPA of 6.0 and above in BCA or B.Sc. (in streams such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Electronics, or Physics)
    • Core Mathematics: It is mandatory to have studied Core Mathematics during your graduation. Business Maths and Applied Maths are not considered.
  • Additional Criteria:
    • Open school or distance education is allowed for 10th and 12th standards.
    • Candidates are allowed one backlog during the online assessment, but must clear it by the end of the 6th semester.
    • A maximum of 3 years of educational gap is permitted between 10th grade and the commencement of graduation.
    • No gaps are allowed during graduation; it should be completed within 3 years from the start.
    • Candidates must be Indian citizens or hold a PIO or OCI card. Bhutan and Nepal nationals need to submit their citizenship certificates.

Selection Process

The selection process for the WILP is rigorous and consists of several stages:

  1. Online Assessment:
    • Duration: 80 minutes
    • Sections:
      • Verbal Ability: 20 minutes, 20 questions
      • Analytical Ability: 20 minutes, 20 questions
      • Quantitative Ability: 20 minutes, 20 questions
      • Written Communication Test: 20 minutes
  2. Business Discussion: Candidates who clear the online assessment will proceed to this round, which assesses their understanding of business processes and scenarios.
  3. HR Discussion: This final round evaluates the candidate’s fit with Wipro’s culture and their alignment with the company’s values and expectations.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Stipend:
    • 1st Year: INR 15,000 per month + INR 488 (ESI)
    • 2nd Year: INR 17,000 per month + INR 553 (ESI)
    • 3rd Year: INR 19,000 per month + INR 618 (ESI)
    • 4th Year: INR 23,000 per month
  • Joining Bonus: INR 75,000
  • Service Agreement: 60 months. If a candidate decides to leave within this period, the joining bonus must be repaid on a pro-rata basis.
