Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit (varies by position):

  • Deputy Superintending Archaeological Chemist: 35 years for UR, 38 years for OBC, 40 years for SC
  • Deputy Superintending Archaeologist: 35 years for UR/EWS, 38 years for OBC, 40 years for SC/ST, 45 years for PwBD
  • Civil Hydrographic Officer: 30 years for UR, 35 years for ST, 40 years for PwBD
  • Specialist Grade III: 40 years for UR/EWS, 43 years for OBC, 45 years for SC, 50 years for PwBD
  • Deputy Central Intelligence Officer: 35 years for UR/EWS, 40 years for SC/ST
  • Assistant Director: 30 years for UR/EWS, 33 years for OBC, 40 years for PwBD
  • Engineer & Ship Surveyor-cum-Deputy Director General: 50 years for UR
  • Training Officer: 30 years for UR/EWS, 35 years for SC, 40 years for PwBD
  • Assistant Professor: 50 years for UR

Educational Qualifications:

  • Deputy Superintending Archaeological Chemist: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry + 03 years experience (OR) Master’s Degree in Chemistry + 01 year experience.
  • Deputy Superintending Archaeologist: Master’s Degree in Archaeology/Indian History/Anthropology/Geology + Postgraduate Diploma in Archaeology + 3 years field experience.
  • Civil Hydrographic Officer: Degree in Engineering in Civil/Computer Science/IT or Master’s Degree in Mathematics/Geography/Geophysics/Computer Applications/IT + 02 years experience.
  • Specialist Grade III: MBBS degree + 03 years teaching experience.
  • Deputy Central Intelligence Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Master’s in Physics/Electronics/Telecommunications/MCA.
  • Assistant Director: Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline.
  • Engineer & Ship Surveyor-cum-Deputy Director General: Certificate of competency of Marine Engineer Officer Class-I + 05 years’ service at sea.
  • Training Officer: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Technology.
  • Assistant Professor: MBBS + relevant postgraduate qualification + 03 years teaching experience.

Application Fee:

  • General/OBC: Rs. 25/-
  • SC/ST/PwBD/Women: No fee

Selection Process:

  • Written Test followed by Interview (if high number of applications)
  • Interview Only
