Position Description

The Associate Technical Support Engineer role is integral to Salesforce’s Customer Success Group, where you’ll assist customers in resolving issues related to their custom code, integration, and implementation of Salesforce products. This involves debugging, fixing, and ensuring issues are fully resolved. You’ll design and maintain technical expertise in assigned product areas, provide feature explanations and best practices for Salesforce coding, and manage customer expectations to enhance satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Assistance: Help customers solve their custom code, integration, and implementation issues with Salesforce products, ensuring complete resolution.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain technical knowledge in assigned areas of product functionality.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrate outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer Communication: Provide clear explanations of features and best practices, handle customer expectations, and enhance their experience.
  • Continuous Learning: Actively participate in job-related training activities.

Required Qualifications/Skills

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Salesforce Credentials: Super Badges in Salesforce Administrator/Developer.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid grasp of HTML, XML, API, SQL, and programming languages like C, C++, Java.
  • Conceptual Understanding: Strong understanding of Internet technologies, including firewalls, web servers, and web proxy servers.
  • Educational Background: BE/B.Tech degree with minimum 70% academic scores in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work in 24/7 shift timings.
