Role Overview:
We are inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee – DevOps. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and augmenting corporate IT engineering automations for IT. You will actively work on DevOps operational issues, collaborating with internal and external partners to automate processes and help recover from system failures, both proactively and reactively. You will have tremendous opportunities to learn within one of the largest Compute groups in the industry.

Responsibilities:
As a Management Trainee – DevOps, you will be expected to:

  • Proficiency in Scripting and Programming: Utilize your skills in scripting and programming languages such as .Net, Python, and Shell scripting to support automation and development tasks.
  • Exposure to Cloud Technology: Work with various cloud technologies to build and maintain cloud environments, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and highly automated.
  • Technical Research: Conduct technical research as needed to contribute to the direction and strategy of projects. Stay updated with market trends and best practices in Cloud and DevOps to build necessary competencies.
  • Design and Development: Participate in the design and development of multi-account, multi-region, highly available, and highly automated cloud environments that support application development, cloud computing, security, identity, and access management, and IT infrastructure.
  • System Support Documents: Understand and contribute to the creation of system support documents and operational procedures to ensure smooth functioning and maintenance of systems.
  • Innovation in Technology: Drive innovation within the technology space by handling business expectations and introducing new technologies and processes.
  • Project Management: Lead multiple projects in collaboration with different project managers, providing regular updates to business stakeholders and managing escalations effectively.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to perform health checks in their environments, gather requirements, answer queries, and provide both primary and technical support.
  • Proof of Concept: Conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) activities before rolling out solutions to production, ensuring they meet the required standards and performance metrics.
  • Training and Mentorship: Prepare training schedules and materials to mentor and train technical engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Technology (B-Tech), Computer Applications (BCA), or a related field.
  • Preferred Qualifications: AWS Certified Security Specialty or AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional. An innovative mindset and a solution-oriented attitude. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
