Role:
Senior Principal Consultant, Cloud Engineer
As a Senior Principal Consultant, you will be responsible for coding, testing, and delivering high-quality cloud infrastructure solutions. Your role also involves maintaining and improving cloud architecture, with a specific focus on AWS environments, security, and operational excellence. You will mentor junior engineers, support production environments, and contribute to best practices for infrastructure and cloud operations.
Qualification:
- Minimum: BE/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent education.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- Certification: AWS Cloud Architect Associate certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
Experience:
- Strong AWS technical experience, preferably in Financial Services.
- Experience in developing and maintaining Terraform infrastructure as code (IaC) modules.
- Hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX, Docker, or other container technologies.
- Familiarity with DMZ-based network architectures and associated infrastructure.
- Expertise in source control and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Knowledge of Access Management technologies, best practices, and IdP (Okta).
- Experience mentoring junior team members and ensuring secure cloud operations.
Skills Required:
- Cloud Expertise:
- Strong experience working with AWS cloud services, including managing AWS landing zone resources (VPCs, IAM, etc.).
- Knowledge in CloudOps best practices like operational excellence, security, performance optimization, cost management, and reliability.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Expertise in Terraform to create and maintain infrastructure modules, ensuring consistency and security.
- Security Architecture & Network Design:
- Experience participating in Security Architecture Review processes, securing new infrastructure, and diagramming networks.
- Familiarity with DMZ architectures, handling sensitive data securely within cloud environments.
- CI/CD and Automation:
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) to streamline deployments.
- Ability to manage source control processes efficiently.
- Access Management and IdP:
- Strong experience with Access Management technologies and familiarity with Identity Providers like Okta.
- Linux/UNIX and Containers:
- Solid knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems and working with containers like Docker.
- Mentorship and Leadership:
- Ability to mentor junior engineers, guiding them on cloud design principles and secure practices.
- Problem Solving & Support:
- Providing Tier 1/2 AWS platform production support and troubleshooting issues during the IST time zone.

- Experienced professionals (typically 5-10 years of cloud and infrastructure experience).
