Job Description: Quality Engineer (Tester)

Role

As a Quality Engineer (Tester) at our Bengaluru office, your primary responsibility will be to enable full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. You will drive quality across the application lifecycle by performing continuous testing for security, API, and regression suites. Your tasks will include creating automation strategies, developing automated scripts, supporting data and environment configuration, participating in code reviews, and monitoring and reporting defects to support continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Functional Test Planning: Develop and execute functional test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects and issues in a timely manner.
  • Automation: Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
  • Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code.
  • Continuous Testing: Conduct continuous testing for security, API, and regression suites to ensure the application meets the required standards and specifications.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must-Have Skills:

  • Functional Test Planning: Experience in developing and executing functional test plans.
  • Automation Testing Tools: Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • API Testing: Experience in testing APIs.
  • Security Testing: Knowledge of security testing practices.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Other Skills:

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve defects effectively.

Qualifications

  • Educational Qualification: Any degree. A strong educational background in computer science or a related field is preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum Experience: 0-2 years in functional test planning.

Location

  • Bengaluru, India

Passed Out Year

  • Recent graduates or those with up to 2 years of experience.
