Role:
Application Developer: Mobile Android
As an Android Developer at IBM Consulting, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Android applications for a wide range of clients across industries. Qualification:
- Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- Entry Level:
- No specific experience is required, but prior internships, projects, or hands-on experience with Android development will be advantageous.
- Experience with Android SDK and working with different versions of Android is highly preferred.
Skills Required:
- Technical Skills:
- Android SDK: Proven knowledge of the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and handling various screen sizes.
- RESTful APIs: Familiarity with connecting Android apps to back-end services via RESTful APIs.
- UI Design: Strong understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Performance: Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Preferred Skills:
- App Development: Ability to design, develop, and support both new and existing Android apps.
